SO I am just back from an amazing trip to New York! We stayed in the wonderful Lexington Hotel on Lexington Avenue. Its a gorgeous boutique hotel with stylish rooms that have lovely art displayed on the walls. The added bonus was knowing Marlyn Monroe had a suite in the hotel! Staying at the hotel you are just a quick walk from Macys, Victoria Secret and the fabulous Sephora!
I had visited Sephora when we were in Las Vegas but it was nothing compared to the shops in New York! They are pretty overwhelming and the need to buy everything is very strong! I ended up spending a small fortune but still wishing I had bought more.My little Sephora haul included Vintage Filter eyeshadow palette with pretty golds, browns and earthy tones. The perfect contour and highlight palette with three contour colours and 3 matt highlighters. Sephora have a great range of brushes, I picked up this double sided brush thats perfect to shape & highlight. I'm always on the look out for high volume mascara so this Outrageous volume mascara is perfect for adding extra thickness to lashes. The So Cute lipstick is a little beauty, it has a natural look on the lips and smells divine. Pretty two tone blush and a lovely pink eyeshadow that I have used as a base!
