Do The Hoola

Complexion, lips & eyes - Benefit Do the Hoola - Beyond Bronze Kit

I love everything from the Benefit range, there really is nothing I wouldn't buy from it! I picked up the " do the hoola"  beyond bronze kit in Boots. The packaging is so pretty that it would make me buy it no matter what!

The kit comes with 5 products, a brush, a mirror and a tips & tricks booklet. This kit is perfect for trying out the products before you buy the full size. Benefit have a few different types of these kits including foundation and mascara.

For an all over natural looking glow they have included the sheer soft matte bronzer with tips on how to use it to contour.  Bronzing power can be applied to the cheeks, bridge of the nose, forehead and chin with the cute and soft little brush. This doesn't have the same gorgeous smell as the Glamafornia but its still fabulous.

Bene Balm is a favourite of mine. This smells divine and is perfect for those looking to try out a hydrating tinted lip balm. There is a hint of a rose colour to the balm so it can be used on bare lips or over a tint.

Another lip product is the Ultra Plush Tip. Use this on a nude lip for a shimmer finish. This lovely gloss smells lovely and doesn't feel sticky at all 💋

The mascara included in this kit is fabulous. It is jet black and adds length and volume to lashes.

This would be a perfect gift for someone or for yourself! Bought in boots 💕

New York, New York!

SO I am just back from an amazing trip to New York! We stayed in the wonderful Lexington Hotel on Lexington Avenue. Its a gorgeous boutique hotel with stylish rooms that have lovely art displayed on the walls. The added bonus was knowing Marlyn Monroe had a suite in the hotel! Staying at the hotel you are just a quick walk from Macys, Victoria Secret and the fabulous Sephora!

I had visited Sephora when we were in Las Vegas but it was nothing compared to the shops in New York! They are pretty overwhelming and the need to buy everything is very strong! I ended up spending a small fortune but still wishing I had bought more.

My little Sephora haul included Vintage Filter eyeshadow palette with pretty golds, browns and earthy tones. The perfect contour and highlight palette with three contour colours and 3 matt highlighters. Sephora have a great range of brushes, I picked up this double sided brush thats perfect to shape & highlight. I'm always on the look out for high volume mascara so this Outrageous volume mascara is perfect for adding extra thickness to lashes. The So Cute lipstick is a little beauty, it has a natural look on the lips and smells divine. Pretty two tone blush and a lovely pink eyeshadow that I have used as a base!
